Launch of the DIO Staking Pool by Fracture Labs
Following a successful $4.3 million funding round in November of last year, which included participation from organizations like Alameda Research, Mechanism Capital, VLaunch, Spartan, Gains Associates, Interstellar Ventures, Master Ventures, Huobi Ventures, Polygon, Spark Digital Capital, Metavest Capital, Titans Ventures, Germ Capital, FA Forward Analytics, and many more, Fracture Labs, a blockchain-based videogame company, has announced new developments.
The company’s main goal is to make multiplayer games that work on PC, consoles, and mobile devices. The well-known “Decimated” game, which is being created using a web3 layer employing Solana, has been its most notable project to date.
The game is a third-person RPG metaverse with cyberpunk influences and is set in a post-apocalyptic planet that has degenerated into ruin as a result of an environmental disaster. Players have to gather resources, contend with totalitarian law enforcement, and survive the hellscape that has become Earth in either a PvP or PvE mode.
Decimated has established itself as a favorite of both fans and reviewers because to its generally adored themes and breathtaking in-game graphics. Decimated is renowned for having received several prizes in recent years, including the Best Blockchain Game prize at the Crypto Games Conference in 2019. One of the most well-known YouTube channels in the game industry, IGN, posted its teaser there. It quickly amassed over 80,000 views on the IGN channel and over 85,000 views on the main Fracture Labs channel, bringing its total views to over 165,000.
The Fracture Labs team has revealed that it will use UnrealEngine 5 for this current financing round, which will allow for even more game development. This occurs shortly after Decimated was awarded the EpicMegaGrant from Unreal Engine to support its initiatives.
Fracture Labs reported an increase in the size of its staff, bringing the total to over 47. The Decimated community, which has more than 140,000 followers and more than 20,000 members in their discord community, is led by this crew.
The native token of the Decimated world, DIO, has lately made substantial advancements as well. It is already listed on a number of exchanges, including Huobi, Gate.io, and Raydium, and there are plans for many more listings. After the opening of the claim site on July 27, 2022, the DIO staking pool became online. The vesting site for Vlaunch winners and investors is located here, and here is where they may manually claim their DIO tokens.
Prior to the release of the game, the NFT Marketplace is scheduled to be live. It will have in-game businesses, residences, cars, and weapons that players may use. Decimated will soon launch as a user-generated content marketplace, enabling content producers and modders to sell their own cars, guns, apartments, and character modifications as NFTs.
